I’ve recently gotten more into skincare. I’ve always known that good skincare is of far greater importance than a great foundation but I haven’t always been diligent enough about taking off my makeup at night and then moisturizing, exfoliating, the whole shebang.

And then I found Biotherm’s Balm-to-oil deep cleanser and makeup remover.

The balm itself is solid in the pot but when you use your fingers to scrape some out it feels a bit like it’s whipped and very light. It melts with body heat so when you massage it onto your face it turns into an silky oil and then when you wash it off with water it turns into a kind of cleansing milk. This product gets all your makeup off, even waterproof mascara, without any effort and it’s pretty fuss-free; just massage into skin, rinse off with water, pat dry. Takes less than a minute!

After using this on my skin it feels soft and even a bit moisturized but definitely not greasy. This pot has lasted me for more than a month and I have more than half of it left.

I feel very confident saying that this is my favorite makeup-remover I’ve ever used and I can’t recommend this product enough. I’ll definitely repurchase again and again.
