1. H&M Sports Top
I got this when I went to Sweden recently. Fantastic quality, lively pink color and it has mesh sides which means it doesn’t just soak up sweat. I love wearing this to the gym.
2. Music from Sound of Music Live
I recently discovered Laura Benanti and through her the Sound of Music Live broadcast which was made in 2013. Although Carrie Underwood was abysmal as Maria and the production overall was rather flat, Benanti was amazing as the baroness. I’ve had the songs she sings in the production on repeat for the past couple of weeks, they are especially fresh to me as I’ve only ever seen the Julie Andrews movie version which omitted the baroness songs.
3. Serial Reader
I discovered this app at the beginning of March. It’s free and the concept is that you pick a book, all of whom are public domain works, and then the app sends you a short segment to read every day until your done. It’s a fantastic way to attack, and enjoy of course, those thick, slightly intimidating classics you’ve been meaning to read for years.
4. Origins Gin Zing
My skin is brighter and far more refreshed since I started using this.
5. Lancôme Juicy Shakers
I couldn’t wait for this to come to stores, I had to order a couple when they were first released. The Juicy Shakers are my first foray into lip oils and I really like them, especially number 301 Meli Melon. A review will be coming soon!
6. Lentils
I’ve pretty much substituted lentils for meat this month. I’ve made lentil chili con carne so often this month I barely remember eating anything else. I don’t mind though as lentils are a great source of protein as well as dietary fiber and they have a good effect on blood sugar, preventing it from rising rapidly after a meal.
